Initially, it becomes necessary to link the calisthenics routine to the level of stamina. The start should be a slow one and takes a lot of time to build the strength. The Calisthenics program provides intense exercise and so after a few days, a one-day rest is required. The routine can be done indoors as well as outdoors. But care should be taken that it is done in a clean, level area, which does not have dangerous equipment or other potential hazards. The area should be well lighted and quiet with good ventilation. The clothing should be flexible and not proving as a hindrance for any movement. A padded exercise mat has to be used for the floor exercises. For the inverted and balancing exercises, initially help should be taken of a friend or trainer.
Order of exercise and breathing
When you start the Calisthenics routine, at the start the core exercises must be done. Then the Intermediate and Advanced exercises can be performed. The order of the exercises is intended to work the body in a complete and systematic manner. While exercising it is necessary to breathe naturally and exhale during major exertions. Breath must never by held inside. Don’t be in a rush to finish exercises and pause to catch the breath and eliminate the strain of he earlier exercise. If you are thirsty, consume some water.
